Profound Obstacle Course

Saturday, November 26, 2

Discoveries:
Today I discovered that if you are truly living in the moment you constantly tackle immeasurable challenges. It is a profound obstacle course that should come with the accompaniment of the Cambridge Chorus and any kind of Philharmonic behind you as background music. It’s just that exigent. Living in the moment requires presence of mind, which is, aside from taxing demands a pretty bright thinker. So the next time you witness a team of young professionals’ wildin’ out pushing their lives and time to its limit think twice about judging them. They’re not dumb, in fact, it’s just the opposite. They are cultured students of life who have conquered their mental firewalls. Remember, true genius is not about what one knows it’s about what they understand.

Musical Inspiration for this BLOG:
A Tribe Called Quest – Jazz (We’ve Got) – [The Low End Theory Album]
(Meant to be played while reading)

High Points:
My cash flow has started flowing again. While money it not my master, I do acknowledge that without it life can be hard. There’s nothing like having the ends to afford a night out on the town, a pair of kicks or movie night for the family. Over the last few months I had to learn how to stretch my coins and make a dollar out of fifteen cents. I discovered low-cost everything. Snacks, entertainment, games, food and drinks all have a generic alternative.

Themes for the Day
Yes, I’ll have dessert this time…
Sure, we can see a move and have popcorn!
Put the crock pot away; let’s have lobster and steak tonight
No baby, just because, buy you something nice, I’m taking you out!

Low Points:
Someone tell me why I went vitamin crazy and now I have more than 8 pills to take each morning. The pharmacy technician tricked me. You should see my medicine cabinet; it has every vitamin and supplement known to man. Ok, not so much but I have a bit of everything. Centrum Multivitamin, Vitamin C500, B12, CoQ10, Vitamin E and even Green Tea extract. I need to auction these off on eBay or something.

DAILY INSANITY:
Two Words:
Ninja Warrior – Seriously, isn’t that show the guiltiest pleasure? I get so much enjoyment from seeing them wipeout on the obstacle course. The only situations that come close to comparing are the following:
  • Spinning Bankrupt on the game show Wheel of Fortune
  • Ending the game show Jeopardy with a negative bankroll
  • Hitting a whammy on the game show Press Your Luck
You have to see this PRESS YOUR LUCK WHAMMY compilation.
