Discoveries:
This week I discovered that quality is better than quantity. It’s almost time for my family’s annual vacation. In years past we scrimped and pimped our cash and pieced together makeshift vacations using Priceline, hotels.com and our silver tongues. This year we decided enough was enough, we were going BIG! We enlisted a Disney vacation planner and put them to work. For an undisclosed price, my family is now set. The only thing left to do now is to save a little pocket cash for souvenirs, experiences and incidentals. The countdown has officially started. Disneyworld here we come!
High Points:
I flew my younger brother Melvin (Ellis) Jones flew down to Dallas from Chicago so he could relax a bit and spend a little time with his big brother. It’s weird because I can remember taking him up to my school on ditch days and using his cuteness to get girls to like me. I can remember wiping diaper gravy off of his leg and helping him learn how to ride a bike. As years past life happened. I got married, he grew up, I moved away, he went to high school and before you knew it our relationship disintegrated. The Williams Family is a tight knit unit (compared to most). One of my dying grandfather’s hopes was that our family stays unified. So at the first available chance I sent for him. We have spent the last few days catching up, chatting about ideas and getting reacquainted. How awesome is that? Break the cycle!

Low Points:
I am finally ready to admit to the world that I can’t control my food. Similar to the iconic 1990’s commercial starring and obese and insanely depressed homemaker stuffing her face with ice cream, pleading with America, asking for help with weight loss I now realize that my meal portions are entirely too large. I exercise hard, long and frequent enough to stay fit and meet some of my health goals but gathered that unless I push away those extra spoon/plate/cupful’s of sustenance I will keep my menacing, prison-swole physique and never get the lean and cut body I’m shooting for. No I don’t have image issues, I love myself, as much as Christ loved the church but in my community we were taught some of the wrong things. The following will no longer be weapons in my arsenal, vernacularly speaking:
· “Finish that glass of juice”
· “Eat everything on your plate!”
· “I know you’re full but it’s time for desert”
· “Let’s go to the buffet”
DAILY INSANITY:
Two Words: SEX LIST We all have them, you know that to-do list of intercourse related must-haves. For some people it’d better be juicy, long, shaved, tight, good, fresh or huge. While for others it just needs to be there, clean, groomed, satisfying, available or free. Whatever the case may be, instead of worrying about your demands, really try to understand the truth. If you are unbending you’ll never get whatever it is you desire from the exchange. Even if you get what you want and win, you still lose because your partner may not feel that same level of satisfaction . Be open-minded and patient, kind and accommodating. You’ll be rewarded handsomely for going the extra mile. Should you have to do it? No. But the key is doing what you should not what you could.
