Friday’s, Friends and Fun

Discoveries:
Today I discovered the best 3-word combination occurs when you merge the words FRIDAY, FRIENDS and FUN! What immediately comes to mind when I hear the triple-word dynamo are memories of me hanging out with the guys at the end of the week having a jolly ole time. My kick-it sessions have gone down in history as some of the most foolish, exciting, phenomenal instances of living that have ever existed in the pre-forty era. It’s the stuff that great memories are made of. My goal is to be that senior citizen that sits in the corner of the senior living home who just can’t stop smiling because his mind is racing with great recollections from his past.

High Points:
I helped a friend move into his apartment this week. We’ve all been there, the lifting, lugging and complaining but isn’t it all worth it? There’s no greater sense of gratification than helping a friend in need. That’s what friends are for correct? If you don’t agree it’s you’re selfish and have no real friends. Sometimes the measure of a man is how he keeps his commitments and how often he does the right thing despite how he feels. No one in their right mind actually wants to move couches, television sets and furniture but a friend helps a friend, bottom line.

Themes for the Day
I thought you were bringing the dolly
Why would you move to the fourth floor!
Did, we need to be charging you for this mess.
Glasses up fellas, to friendship! Cheers!

Low Points:
Someone tell me why Herman Cain thought he could rock with Obama. Seriously, our president is the stuff that dreams are made of. For goodness sake, he plays pickup basketball outside the oval office. I am sure you have seen the headlines, Cain is bowing down. He will not race for the presidency, yippy! Didn’t he know better? My oh my did his countenance fall, similar to the biblical story of Cain and Abel. Why be jealous of your own brother?

DAILY INSANITY:
Two Words: Nintendo Wii
Okay, I’ll admit it! The Nintendo Wii brings families closer together. You should have seen us shaking our tail-feather to the hip grooves in the new Black Eyed Peas experience video game. I am certain my neighbors thought we were having a party because of all the loud noise. The game is amazing and it helps you burn calories. After two songs I was spent, seriously! And don’t even get me started on the new Michael Jackson version. Whew! Go pick em' up, well worth the bread.

I agree with the satisfaction of helping a friend. No one wants to go out of their to do anything especially not lift heavy boxes and move furniture, but in the end you feel great sitting around sharing laughs and knowing they are okay.

My 2nd grader is writing a book report on the biography of Obama. Sorry Herman Cain you definitely can't hang with this man.

My favorite video game as child was Zelda.
Nice post.
