Discoveries:
Today I discovered that the NBA Playoffs have officially begun! Yippy! I am so happy. I am a basketball fanatic. I play pick-up games three times per week at the gym, most of which I win, convincingly. Okay, sometimes I lose but that is beside the point. The NBA Playoffs are here! Just imagine, your favorite home team, playing for the Championship trophy. I don’t know about you guys but I’ll be cheering for the Chicago Bulls who, by the way, had the best record in the league. They are playing the Indiana Pacers (no contest) and Game 1 is tomorrow 4/16/11 at noon CST. Now where can I find an old Scottie Pippen Jersey or Bulls hat?
High Points:
I had the most amazing Jamaican food for lunch today from the most well-known Caribbean cuisine spot in the Dallas area. The word delicious just doesn’t do it justice. The eats are so good that if the food could talk it would be an arrogant boastful athlete that could actually back up all the bragging it does; only the food doesn’t need to brag or be cocky because it’s so tasty that YOU actually do the speaking for it. You talk about how savory the Brown Stew or Jerk Chicken is; you drool over the discussion of the Mannish water or curry fish. Your eyes buck from the remembrance of their rice and peas and Rum punch. When I tell you that my meal was good enough to be a last meal I am not joking.

Low Points:
I refuse to say that I am broke or that I can’t afford a thing. Instead I say that I am “waiting on a blessing” or” not right now, perhaps I’ll get it later,” Like many Americans, I found ways to stretch my dollar Simple adjustments such as clipping coupons, finding specials, deals, hook ups and along with careful planning allows us to obtain the things we ‘d like to have without breaking the bank. Things will get better. It sometimes takes a little more faith than usual but eventually we all receive the blessings that we need
DAILY INSANITY:
