Discoveries:
Today I discovered that I miss college. I took my nephew to college and made the trek to Denton TX so he could attend the prestigious UNT. He seemed so excited and ready to tackle school. I remember being eighteen years old with an open mind and a pocket full of student loans and grant money. I felt like anything was possible. Unlike my peers, I wasn’t experimenting with mind-expanding drugs or having orgies, instead I was actually studying. I held down a decent part time gig as a recycling custodian (basically a garbage man). I went to the movies and the mall on occasion but mostly I was, well, responsible.
High Points:
I was able to squeeze in a ton of things with the little time I had left. Normally I am scrambling around trying to fit five hour worth of work into four but not today. I hit all of the items on my TO-DO list and once I finished, I looked up and found that it was only 3 o’clock. Sweet!
Low Points:
Man, I need to start going to the barbershop, seriously. I used to cut hair all throughout high school and college so I’ve got the skill. It’s just that I have lost the will to do it. One would think that with a bald head, it should be pretty easy to groom myself but you have no idea. With bald heads you have razor-burn, bumping, scars, cuts, and oily skin. Sometimes I wish I can just spend the sawbuck (urban colloquialism for twenty dollars) and go to a barber but how I can let anyone near this head? It’s kinda my trademark ya know?
Question
What professional grooming should ALL men pay for?

Actually, a sawbuck is a ten...a twenty is still a dub...but as far as professional grooming for men...I feel the same way as women...there are some things you should know how to do yourself no matter how much you can pay for it...
I think more men should pay for PROFESSIONAL pedicures. Most men prefer to have their significant other get the 'foot bath' out and tackle this task when in actuality a pedicure is so much more than soaking of the feet. Until science advances and surgeons are able to do feet implants...take care of the one set you have and treat yourself to pedicures!
BTW....a sawbuck is ten dollars and a dub is twenty. LOL...and I thought you couldn't take the hood out of a person.
