Discoveries:
Today I discovered that some relationships last forever no matter the circumstance. When you share a moment with a friend, foe or lover somehow they are etched into your mind like placards hanging from collegiate hall. All of the ups, downs and emotions all contribute to the experience of life. Without the bitter, you really can’t enjoy the sweet. I had the privilege of speaking to a few folks from my past. Nothing nasty or sexual or criminal or wrong, just friends. We discussed our live and how close we came to living out the dreams we had as children. We then challenged ourselves to brave the criticism and be truthful about whether or not achieving the goal was all worth it in the end.
High Points:
You can call me Johnny Homemaker because sometimes I even surprise myself! One would think I was pregnant or high with the munchies because at 5am this morning I was up and invigorated so I decided to make fresh blueberry muffins and a pitcher of green tea. Lately I have been feeling unusually handy around the kitchen. Some women say it’s a turn on, I don’t care about that, all I care about is what’s going into my belly!
Low Points:
I guess that’s why Facebook has been so critical to society. We all wonder about the high school prom queen or the star football player. We wonder if the class clown ever became a comedian or if he or she is just a joke. We wonder if the guy who was most likely to be successful actually succeeded. The unanswered questions get answered through the world of social networking. Amazing!
Question
Is it a good idea to reunite with people and influences from your past?

I say yes for many reasons - on the positive side: to reminisce, to explore, and to share;
and on the negative side: to heal, to forgive, and to feel empowered. After all, if people come into our lives for a season, it makes sense that we reunite with them because seasons are cyclical.
p.s. Shall I call you the Muffin Man?
