Discoveries:

Today I discovered that Sade’s music is sometimes the best medicine for life’s ills. She has songs that fit any emotion. Her catalog is filled with a body of work that appeals to every fragment of the soul. I had the unique privilege of seeing her live in Dallas while she was on the middle leg of her Soldier of Love tour. Any sane person would admit that her effortless relay of each note in her songs is her calling card. She alone has mastered this delivery. Her emotional melodies and poetic lyrics transcends todays' formula for successful music and she has proven that artists can gain global admiration for their material if it is rooted in theory and love. On anothoer note;  for her to be on the other side of fifty she looks stunning . If we all could be so lucky or shall I say blessed. Thank you Sade.

Pop Quiz: How can you tell if you need a Sade song to help you get through the day?
Answer: When you play one of her songs you remember how to relax, slow down and enjoy the beautiful simplicity of mere breathing

High Points:
I am juggling it all, too many things to name simply accept what I say as fact. I am the man who wears so many hats that when I’m seen from a far I look like a man with a three foot head. There is something regal about mastering the art of multitasking without sacrificing quality. Yesterday I wore seven hats:
CEO, Marketing Executive, Father, Friend, Student. Author, Husband and Servant

Themes for the Day

Can you sing me a song?
Invest in today for tomorrow is not promised.

Low Points:
I promised myself that this month I would try to read one book per week. That didn’t happen. I mean to tackle the stacks but time is always against me. I have lost battles to time every day this week. Perhaps if I sacrificed one thing for another I could create reading time but I refuse. What a shame too, I planned to read some Hawthorne.
DAILY INSANITY:
Three Words: Keep it coming
I am powerful beyond measure! He wouldn’t have given it to me if I wasn’t equipped to handle it!

Hey John! I love Sade...been listening to her since I was too young to even fathom what she was singing about but for some reason her music touched me then as it touches me now. I saw her concert in Chicago twice because the first show was not enough. Ditto to everything you stated about her!
