Discoveries:
Today I had a moment of clarity, you know, that single epoch of time in which your mind, soul, beliefs, needs, desires, hopes and reason syndicate themselves with intention. You could have battled back and forth with the decision, goal, task or to-do list for months but in a single flash you get a glimpse of the way things ought to be. It’s like having an internal book and getting a sneak peek at the next chapter of your life. It’s ideal when your moment of clarity is pleasant, serene and calm. But what if it’s not. What if your premonition is a foreshadowing of the worst times to come? How does one deal with that? Thankfully mine was in between, not leaning more towards one way or the other. Fascinating…
High Points:
Is it possible to divulge too much? Overtell (if you will)? It all depends on the person. Everyone is not cut out to handle the splendor. We all have inner corridors inside where we hide our most guarded secrets and most private things. It is my position that protecting them is futile. Why protect the things that hurt you most? It should be the other way around. We ought to protect the things that make us smile. Bottling up our emotions prevents us from truly being loved. We are too busy holding on to our rotten reserves and protecting those rotten provisions that we fail to get true food for our soul. Your mood is intensified and everyday common social interactions into arguments. That can’t be life. Free yourself.

Low Points:
In the movie Ocean’s Twelve there was a scene where George Clooney asked Julia Roberts about her happiness with her new man, “Does he make you laugh?” he says. “He doesn’t make me cry,” she said. What a powerful exchange. In one hand she silently acknowledges the apparent affect that her former beau had on her but on the other hand, there’s no denying the negative affect he also had on her on an emotional level. So, which one is better? To never make a woman cry but fail when it comes to making her laugh? Or is it better to make her laugh, give her the time of her life but inevitably leave her in tears. Safe or Sorry; they say it’s better to be safe than sorry but I am unsure about this one. Sounds like a pretty boring life.
DAILY INSANITY:
1 Word – Goodbye!
This is my least favorite word in the English dictionary next to defecate and tomfoolery.
Question
Is there ever a right time to say goodbye?
