Discoveries:
Today I discovered that I am a catalyst. Somehow I have been blessed with the ability to start things. Even if I fail and fall flat on my face, after I get up, I see that my initiative gave someone the courage they needed to begin something of their own. If not for my commencement they would have otherwise quit. This is such a gift. It’s true when old folks say that you never know who is watching. So when given the opportunity to become the means for inspiration, change and the betterment of the human condition take it seriously because even if you fail you may have lit a spark inside somebody who won’t. Do that thing, go to that place, write that book, have that meal, buy those shoes, wear that dress because someone else may be counting on you to give them the nerve they need to make a change.
High Points:
Today I was a ball full of ideas. At work, at home, in my relationships I felt like I could think up anything. So I ask, what does one do when he or she feels like they have that one of a kind idea? They write it down, record it and take the time to document your thoughts as evidence to yourself and the world that it came from your brain. During the last 24 hours I have come up with the following possibilities:
Seasoned Butter
A better version of The Clapper
Fedora hats that fit people with big heads
Ways to get consumers back interested in the newspaper
Reasons why kids should avoid candy and fluids after 9 o’clock
Cities in the U.S that need an infusion of Black and their ideas
A theory on why some men will do anything for sex and beauty
A theory on my some women do anything for money and security

Low Points:
I have been craving for some Chinese food for weeks and I had the opportunity to get me some but denied myself because I could not stomach spending $10 on a lunch buffet that didn’t come with a FREE soft drink. I love water, no wait; I actually only “like” water. With my meal I preferred an ice cold lemonade, or Coke, or Pepsi or OJ, heck even a hot tea but nooooooooo they refused. So I kindly smiled, stepped out of line and said to the cashier. $2.39 for a drink when the meal is $10.00 that’s the most larcenous repugnant thing I have heard all day. Thank you for your time. They tried to pull a fast one on me. Zoinks Scoob.
DAILY INSANITY:
7 Words – Be the Change you want to see
This must be the most difficult thing in the world to do because NO ONE ever does it.
Instead they complain, bicker, gripe and nitpick. Is there not a better way?
Question
What would you like to change?
