Discoveries:
Today I discovered that credit is the newest form of separatism for age, sex, race and preference. Who knew that a leased vehicle (brand new) would cost half as much as a busted up late model version of the same car? I saw a commercial on television that advertised a brand new 2011 Honda Civic for $169 per month with an initial payment of about $1800 with superior credit. Pretty awesome deal right? I went online and searched for ownership offers from dealers and I was astounded. I compared the offer I saw on TV with the deal I found online and was shocked to see that the payment was nearly $200 higher per month for a person with jacked up credit. More than twice the cost. Should credit be that critical to life? I understand the logic behind why lenders choose to follow this model but perhaps, maybe just maybe, if you made the car affordable consumers would actually pay for it and make good on their promise to pay, right?
High Points:
I found a deodorant that almost smells as good as fine cologne. Old Spice is really stepping up their scent game. For $5 you can have your underarms smelling like sweet victory. I double dare you to pick one of the new Old Spice scents up the next time you are on the grocery store. Your sweetie pie will adore you for it. Wanna smell underneath my arms?
Low Points:
Due to technical difficulties I was unable to host my radio show. Bummer! I was really looking forward to chatting with my guests. They are both extremely talented, beautiful, intelligent and accomplished women but due to an outage I went offline. Oh well, I guess it was meant to be. I will reschedule them both so not to worry, the Creative Soul show will be back IN FULL EFFECT next week. Check your boy out online: www.blogtalkradio.com/creativesoul

The US government is supposed to be starting a department that will ensure that companies practice safe credit practices. An old spice is the shit.
