Finding Time

Discoveries:
Today I discovered that the smallest dogs make the most noise. I guess there's something profound about that notion. Imagine that, think back to when you were a child. How many times did the neighborhood bully bark loudly at you in hopes of making you wimper or give you your lunch money? What about the husky nightclub hater that always seems to find a way to bark loud enough to ruin the party. You must remember again that the smallest dogs make the most noise. People like that bark loudly because they are trying to compensate for something, the size of their heart. The strong move quietly..

High Points:
I hosted two important meetings today at work that resulted in an allegiance between two very respected companies. I felt good about my ability to gain buy-in from complete strangers. I also had a few conversations with people that are closest to me that were long overdue. Sometimes you've gotta call a spade a spade man while at other times you need to keep your mouth shut. Today was a time to be upfront about expectations and hopes. There are so many things I wish to accomplish and achieve before I die, it just seems that I have so little time to get them done.

Low Points:
I keep missing opportunities to go to the movies asnd see fine cinema. I used to live in the theaters but now I'm always busy. There have been nearly a dozen films that have come to the theaters that I haven't made time to see. I miss the smell of popcorn, soda and sour patch kid candy. What's worse is that by the time I actually get to the show the movie is no longer at the damn theaters. That's it! I am going to start making it a Saturday morning ritual.
