Again?

Discoveries:

Today I discovered that people resist change. In the early 90’s I reported to a CEO who called them dinosaurs. This moniker signified that they were set in their ways and no matter how amazing, innovative and effective the idea or concept was they were unwilling to change. Perhaps it was their fear of the unknown, impending discomfort or a bad experience they would not be moved. The trouble with fighting change is that it occurs too swiftly and all too often for you to fight change and win.

High Points:

This past week has been filled with positive news from the media. Usually, the only information available for the public to consume is bad news. The good news they report on is rarely meaningful. In fact, some of the stories are downright obnoxious! What’s worse than tuning in to your favorite news station and watching a story about a dancing monkey, a squirrel that can waterski or new store in the mall? This week was different. I learned a little bit more about the 2012 Presidential candidates, I witnessed Andrew Zimmerman’s attorney’s step down and drop their client and I found out that Cirque Du Soleil has a new touring show that’s a tribute to Michael Jackson. Good news is way better than bad. I wonder what will happen next week that is news worthy.

Low Points:

Allergy season is in full swing and it is kickin’ my (insert expletive)

Claritin, Flonase and Benadryl have been my best friends. Have you ever experienced the dreaded inner-ear itch? You know the feeling I’m speaking of. It’s the one where you pull your ear and try to jaw-suck out the pain by making that annoying sound that’s a cross between a burp and a cough. Stop!  That bothers the hell out of everyone around you. I am guilty of doing it too. It provides so much relief! How else are we to stop the inflammation? This one time I was so irritated that I damaged my eardrum by jabbing at it with Q-Tips. Let’s all change our air filters, buy an ionic breeze fan and take our meds so we can preserve our lucidity.

DAILY INSANITY:
Two Words: Super Model
My wife has started modeling again. She naturally stunning but when she gets dolled up she can rock with the best of them! No seriously, I can place her on any runway in Paris and not only could she keep up she’d show those sickly looking anorexics how to do tha damn thang! I am so proud of you babe!
