Now the world is listening!

Discoveries:

Today I discovered I am a great writer, not good, great.  I found out this past week when Yahoo accepted my columnist submissions and published 3-out-of-4 pieces. Those odds are unheard of in any kind of journalism. In most cases you pour your heart out on the pages and no one give you their nod of approval. Worse, they don’t even respond. Other than the reverie of completing the writing and stepping up to a challenge you’ve set before yourself, you really have nothing to celebrate about. Conversely, I can rejoice! Yahoo News has agreed to feature my work on a global stage and they’re even going to pay me for it! Further, I have been assigned a beat in the area of Finance. It will be my job to create compelling content that will assist readers with corralling their money and getting the best use out of their finances.

Pop Quiz: How can you tell if you have impacted your reader with your writing?

Answer: You don’t have to tell the next reader about it, your current reader will.

High Points:

This week marked the official commencement of NFL regular season football. I have been craving gridiron action since last year’s epic culmination where the Green Bay Packers walked away holding the Vince Lombardi trophy. This year will be even more exciting as several teams are poised to make headlines this year. I suggest you find a group of loyal fans and partner together with them and start a tradition. Regardless of your schedule, I challenge you to make time to bond with friends and family for pigskin.

Use the NFL season as the vehicle to bring you closer.

Writing is my intellect’s vacation

Are you ready for some football?

How much are season ticket plans sir?

Low Points:
I was presented with an opportunity to stand up for something but I didn’t. Initially I thought, no big deal, right? Then after watching the events transpire post-opportunity, I saw how I could have altered the course of events if I displayed an act of courage. The situation involved an individual was deemed insolent and defiant. I didn’t think so. In my humble opinion they were simply inquisitive and a risk taker who had enough guts to fall out of sync with status quo. What a shame, lesson learned. It won’t ever happen again! I’ll have their back next time.

DAILY INSANITY:
One Word: Somehow

Is there another word which holds more hopeful mystique? I am the “somehow” man this week because somehow I beat the odds.

Question
