I’m right when I write…

Discoveries:

Today I discovered that writing calms me, it gives me the outlet I need to vent and articulate the feelings that I harbor inside of me. Whether it’s that tough conversation, that long explanatory explication or that angry rant that we all need to have every once in a while. With words, I can create an experience for my reader and it seems that all is right with the world. Don’t get me wrong, I like speaking and I love to talk but nothing is better than the written word.

High Points:

I had a decent lunch today. Big up’s to Champps in Addison, TX .Yes Champps is spelled with (2) S’s for all of you perfectionists out there who somehow feel validated when you discover someone else’s shortcomings. The lunch was remarkable, raspberry sweet tea, a cheeseburger with all the fixins, and onion rings. I also sampled my coworker’s appetizer platter that came with Buffalo wings, cheese sticks, potato wedges and celery. Normally I choose to feast on something moderately healthy but not today. Today it was all about taste. Thanks a bunch Champps!

DAILY INSANITY: 2 Words – Legit money.

I want to know what it feels like to receive a regular paycheck that is five or six digits long (before the decimal point) and the money is all legitimate. I’m talking stocks, mutuals, 401K disbursement, severance package, trust fund, commission check money. Soon enough grasshoppers, soon enough…
