Discoveries:
Today I discovered that every word I utter has the potential to impact the world. I guess it's the whole six degrees of separation theory. We are all connected, more than you know. I saw a movie called Limitless a few days ago and aside it's obvious parallel to drug addiction and glorification of negative dependency it was a pretty powerful flick. The concept that we, as humans, can access 100% of our brainpower is fascinating to me. It almost seems unreal to conceive that somehow we could uncover, store, access and retain information and on a whim use it to help make us rich, powerful, important, more relevant. I argue that we already have that opportunity. I am now more cognoscente of the words I select to use and let flow from my mouth. Not because I am afraid of being a bad example but moreover I want to speak the things into existence I desire and truly approach every word and every syllable positively and bereft of pessimism and doubt.
High Points:
Today I was fast and furious. Well, not so much. However, I did experience something that was so remarkable that I was immediately hooked. There I was, at a drag race strip in a small town near Fort Worth . The weather was beautiful, it was 85 degrees with a light breeze that was just strong enough to keep you cool. As I approached the entrance to the facility I saw hundreds of tricked out cars, trailers and guys in hates holding tools working on these tricked out cars with mammoth sized motors and ear screeching exhaust sounds coming from under their hoods. Who knew that drag racing was that fun. Aside from the fans, who by the way, are the coolest people on the planet you have this entire sub-culture that normalizes bringing coolers full of beer, cigars, jerky and peanuts, I saw real racing fans! Guys who would bet you $5 on a race, discuss their old skool cars and share their last with you. I felt at home and accepted into the racing family. If you are lucky I may post video on YouTube of some of the races.

Low Points:
This is going to sound so petty but, why can't canned goods stay cold long enough for you to enjoy the beverage that's trapped inside of the can?. Whether its beer, soda or juice, it just refuses to satay cold. If I can get someone to help me figure out a device that will keep your can cold without having to wrap it in a sweater, foil, plastic or have to empty it into a thermos I will dance at your wedding. Nobody likes hot beer and damn it if I become an alcoholic from doubling my suds consumption trying to guzzle it down so fast to avoid having to taste my brew cold.
