Why Thank You!!!

Discoveries:

Today I discovered that sometimes people need to hear how you feel about them. When you take time out of your day to improve someone else’s you positively impact the human condition. Think about the last time someone told you that your haircut looked nice, your outfit was amazing, your smile was contagious, your perfume smelled sweet, you had amazing eyes or you had the “it” factor. If you have a soul, it probably brightened your day. For the person giving the compliment, all it costs them was a few seconds and a well thought out flattering remark. I challenge you to use your weekend to award kind words to deserving people. You may never know how badly they need it. Give it a try; you could very well be the one bright spot in their otherwise dismal day.

Possible Themes for your weekend:

Polite Flirt

High Points:
I realized that I can help anyone market anything. Although I have been in the sales industry for more than a decade each day presents a new opportunity to learn. I am culturing myself in the art of selling more and more. Sales is more of a process than an event. This process, of selling, is no doubt an expedition. Like scaling a mountain you must have endurance, skill, innovation, creativity, persistence and belief to conquer in a Sales environment. Dare I say it,,,, I am becoming a master? Isn't Master Level the next level above Expert Level, correct?

Low Points:

I have been devouring left over Halloween and Christmas candy. I feel like the cookie monster only with Starbursts, Tootsie Roll chews and Jolly Ranchers. You would think I was a basehead with the munchies if you saw me run through a dollar bag worth of penny candy. Perhaps that’s why I don’t keep candy in my car, on my desk or at the house; I’d eat it all and have rotten ass teeth because I just can’t stop. Someone please, hide the mini Snicker candies and those long red sour straws. I can run through a bag of them babies in a half hour. I will make a conscious effort to replace candy with carrot sticks or peanuts, replace sour straws with string cheese. No matter what I decide,,,keep the candy away!

Daily Insanity:
Four words: Gold fronts over thirty! Do I really need to explicate the aforementioned?

Question

What are some safe compliments you can give to lift someone’s spirits without them feeling uneasy or creeped out?
