Discoveries:
Today I discovered that when people are privileged and have access to even a few modern conveniences they develop a sense of entitlement and walk around with an unacceptable arrogance that is egoistical, self-centered and sad. Just because you have a car, it doesn’t mean you get to look down on people at bus stops when you are at a red light. How dare you. Also, just because someone makes you breakfast three or four days in a row it doesn’t mean that it’s somehow their job to do it every morning. There are actually people that feel this way. I feel sorry for them.
High Points:
I thoroughly cleaned my bathroom, kitchen and office. This is a big deal because, like most men, I bitterly detest the actual act of cleaning. Don’t get me wrong, I love the end result and I feel better once the areas are clean but I get no satisfaction from the scrubbing, sweeping and mopping. No to be terse but hey, the priority level of cleaning to me is right down there with stepping in a pile of day old pooch dung. However, I got it done.
Low Points:
I still haven’t finished editing my script for my next project (PINK) but I am drawing nearer each day. Who knew that adding directional cues and scene ambiance would take so long? I guess I need to do it to help the director see it exactly how I see it in my head. I believe this project will be tastefully sensual, similar to my first full length novel entitled What Could Have Been? The Saint, The Sinner and The Attempt.
Question
What do you feel entitled to?

The feeling of entitlement starts with the caste system developed in our society, and the people who perpetuate it. The white man felt he was entitled to the Native American's land when he got here because he had "more" than what the natives had. Foolish man, he never realized still to this day that the important thing is to never take more than you actually need. That is all we are really entitled to...
