Discoveries:
It really is all about who you know. This afternoon I thought about how many lives I touch through my novels and radio show. Last year alone I interviewed more than one hundred unique guests and exposed them and the world to some aspect of the creative arts. How amazing. I want to impact the world . I have been contemplating releasing (2) anthology projects geared towards giving relative unknowns the exposure they need to move to the next level. I will focus on poetry projects and erotic short stories. I am thinking about starting it in the fall. Look out world!
High Points:
I believe I found a job. At least I hope I did. The funny thing is that it didn’t really take that long. I guess it was meant to be. I will tell you more about the job in a later blog. I went to the park today, an actual park with swings, grass and pathways. It was a great experience to enjoy the sunshine outdoors. In addition, I was catered to (ooh la la) this afternoon. Lunch was made for me complete with dessert and an icy cold beverage. I am blessed!
Low Points:
I looked in my closet and realized that I don’t really have a sufficient amount of casual clothes. In my past career roles I was always dressed to the nines or in a polo and khakis at minimum. I didn’t have the luxury of parading around town in flip flops, urban jeans and graphic tee’s but not any more. I need to hit up the mall (when I get some money) and replenish my swag.
Question
When you’re over thirty, what are the best casual looks that men can pull off without looking ridiculous?
