High Points:
My knees are intact! I have
had 4 knee procedures performed in the last two months to correct a growing
problem concerning my joints and the synovial fluid behind my knee. In short, I
have arthritis, at 35! I visited www.arthritis.com
and read up on the issue. The site said, “A normal knee joint is surrounded by
a membrane, the synovium, which produces a small amount of thick fluid
(synovial fluid). The fluid helps to nourish the cartilage and keep it
slippery. The synovium also has a tough outer layer (the joint capsule) which
protects and supports the joint.” Well, I had this fluid removed from both
knees and replaced with a gel-like substance that will provide more lubrication
and cushion when I exercise or do anything that requires high impacts to my
joints. As you no doubt have guessed, YES a large needle was used to extract
and inject the fluid into my knee. It hurt like hell but only for a little
while and I feel much better now.

DAILY INSANITY:
One Word: Coffee Fetish
I currently own a really cool French press coffee maker. On Sundays I crack open that gourmet bag of java and take ten minutes to make the perfect cup of Joe. I add cinnamon, nutmeg, raw sugar and skim milk even though this gives me the bubbleguts if I drink too much. Don’t judge me.

Question of the day:
How do you prepare your coffee, tea or favorite relaxation beverage?

Well being that I am an amazing Chef by trade if I gave you the entire recipe I'd have to kill you but it starts with a special blend of ground coffee beans, vanilla flavoring, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a few other flavoring to entice a TRUE coffee drinkers taste buds, no sugar is needed
