Music, Motivation and Margaritas!

Discoveries:
Today I discovered the beauty of music and harmony through a song my friend suggested I listen to from one of my all-time favorite groups Boyz II Men . It’s one thing to release a great song or album for that matter but when you continuously reinvent yourself and your style while still keeping the same sound and “it” factor that helped you find stardom in the first place is special. I suggest you check it out. Yeah, it’s a cover of an original classic but they made it a new classic!

High Points:
I participated in a graduation ceremony today and although I only knew a few of the graduates on a professional level, I was still overcome with emotion. I love a commencement ceremony. Its promise of hope and optimism is profound. There I was, a guest of honor at the event feeling like a proud dad watching his only son that made it! (Big shout out to Nas for that previous line from Ether).

Low Points:
Okay, margaritas are sweet poison. I swear I downed three frozen ones in less than a half hour and felt like a complete lush. The good news is that I wasn’t alone. I wasn’t drunk but “nice” was definitely an understatement. Y’all know my stomach doesn’t agree with liquor if it isn’t brown!!! Ha Ha Ha!

Question
What song would you put on the list of Greatest Songs Ever?
